Hi there! I'm Vanessa Mielke. 

Welcome to my life. 

 In 2015, I decided to quite my job of four years to dedicate my life to traveling, and I haven't looked back since. In this time, I have traveled across all of New Zealand, moved to the other side of Canada and taken multiple road trips through the United States. Traveling has become my number one passion, my lifestyle and something that has brought nothing but greatness into my life.

Along side traveling, I'd have to say my number 2 passion is photography. I have always been very artistic, growing up I was constantly drawing, painting, colouring or creating something out of nothing. I always knew that I was creative and skilled in the visual arts, but it wasn't until I started traveling that I really picked up a camera and fell completely in love with taking photos. Photography has become my art form, its the best way I know how to express myself and share my life with others. It allows me to spend more time in nature, I can constantly be creating and pushing myself out of my comfort zone, in ways I was never able to with other forms of art.  

So this website, is going to be dedicated to my life, with lots of blog posts on all of my travels and adventures, as well as my full photography portfolio. I will be sharing past travels, as well as future. I have a lot of big plans for 2017 and I'm very excited to share them with all of you!
